The Massasauga Provincial Park encompasses areas of the mainland and many large and small islands. There are waterways that resemble a river and many coves and bays, providing great anchorages. Moon River and Moon Bay are within the park. The above image is a morning view of the shore from our anchorage in Richie Bay.
Most of the waters in the park, including Moon River and Moon Bay, are not charted. With rocks, shoals, and narrow passages, exploration by dinghy and kayak is the wise choice.
